About Anthony
Tony currently resides in Martinez, California. He is a graduate of the JoyBound Shelter to Service Program, where he and his dog, Jake, trained to be a Psychiatric Service Dog Team.
Tony’s K9 training experience includes service as the Lead K9 Explosive Detection Team Handler in the U.S. Coast Guard. He and his canine partner have conducted K9 missions in protection of the President and First Lady of the United States, the Vice President, as well as multiple other foreign and domestic dignitaries.
In 2022 Tony graduated from a rigorous K9 Training Instructor Course. This 16-week course supplied Tony with the most advanced K9 training techniques from basic obedience to detection K9 training.
Tony is also accredited by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, CCPDT-KA.
